MANAGEMENT TEAM
In
March 2001, Dutch software entrepreneur Paul Honig started Quattro Web Solutions
through the acquisition of the web development side of Dockside Internet
(pty) Ltd, an Internet Service Provider and web development company that
Paul started in Cape Town, South Africa in 1995. Prior to starting up Dockside
Internet, Paul founded his first company Computing Media BV in 1986, which
sold and supported NeXT computers, Transputer-based parallel processing
solutions and PC networks. Paul is a passionate entrepreneur who has set
up successful cafés, bars and restaurants including InfoCafe at the
Cape Town tourism offices, one of Cape Town's first internet cafes.
In
December 2002, Nick joined Quattro bringing successful Internet business
management and product marketing experience. All-Hotels Ltd., an Internet
Travel site which Nick started in 1998, was sold in September 2002 to the
Online Travel Corp. Prior to founding All-Hotels Ltd., Nick worked for Serigraph
Inc. from 1992-1996 where he pioneered in-pack marketing initiatives for
FMCG companies. He left Serigraph in 1996 to found a successful promotions
agency, Impact Promotions Bvba, which was responsible for developing the
tazo promotion for Frito Lay. Nick is still a director at Impact Promotions.
After
his IT studies, Ernie started his IT career as a webmaster at the National
Accelerator Centre. At Leisure Planet International he created real-time
reservation systems and the online travel guides before joining Dockside
Internet, where he developed the Directory Builder product, a portal Content
Management System. As the lead developer on products such as GraphicMail
and TriggerSMS, he brings a wealth of experience in programming ASP/SQL,
as well as Java and VB script to Quattro. Often quiet and pensive, he seems
happiest when challenged to develop complex product improvements within
unreasonable time restraints. |
